We finished learning Lesson 8: 我喜欢蓝色 today, and practised the song for BCS Chinese New Year Gala 新年好：）The kids have done a good job!
Key Points:
1. pinyin: zh ch sh r
2. radicals of 喜 欢 颜 色 红 蓝 （See Textbook Page 50 ）
3. Review the structures of characters （汉字结构）, counting the strokes of characters（数笔画）.
Homework：
1. Textbook Page 47, Part 3 (Listen to the recording. Tick what is true and cross what is false).
2. Review and prepare for the final exam on 01/21/2018.
Contents of the final exam:
a) be able to write the basic characters and understand their meanings （早 你 好 再 见 对 不 起 几 个 人 口 没 有 名 字 王 天 一 什 么 白 色）
b) be able to circle the basic radicals and can match to their meanings

c) be able to read the basic pinyin and their 4 tones
Textbook Page 2, 3, 5，17, 18，25，31，32，39，47
d) be able to know the structure of each character
Textbook Page 12，21，22
e) know the basic strokes (dian heng shu pie na ti)
f) be able to count how many strokes are there in each character
Textbook Page 14，23，36
g) be able to match the basic conversations
Textbook Page 24，30，33，34，37，43, 46, 49
Most of the questions will come from or be similar to the ones in the workbook. So if you have done your homework carefully each week, you should hold the confidence to do it well on the final exam.
For the final exam, the written part and oral part take 50% each. So, please be prepared for the oral test as well!
